Driving Directions to the Rusty Buffalo Gun Range

This may sound complicated but it is easy, there will be signs along the way to help guide you, just follow them as well. Your total travel time will be 30 to 40 minutes. Bear in mind what the weather will be, it could be hot and sunny, or you may see an afternoon rain shower so bring plenty of sunscreen and an umbrella and jacket. Pizza Carrillo will be selling Pizza and there will be soda pop for sale. You are welcome to pack a lunch and plenty of drinks, we will also have water on sight so nobody will go thirsty. For those of you coming from out of town you are welcome to camp out on the range by setting up a tent or camper, we will do everything we can to help you with water hook ups and electric.

Leaving from Gillette: Goal Address 86 Coyote Trail Rd.

Head West on Interstate 90 towards Buffalo. Take Exit 113 Wild Horse Creek. When you get off the interstate turn left the road turns left and goes under the interstate then turns right. You are heading west on Wild Horse Creek until the brown house where the road turns left. Go a little over a mile to Lowery Road, turn Right. Go 1 mile to the end of Lowery Road and turn left. This is borderline road, it will turn right past the mail boxes, go to the 4 way intersection. Turn Right onto North Sage Hill Road.

North Sage road will take you back under the interstate, stay in this road up a small hill past a few curves, up a big hill then across a flat area in the road it will come to a “Y” in the Road, turn Right onto Coyote Trail Road. Always stay right at every “Y” on Coyote Trail Road, again, you will see signs marking the way, keep going until you run out of road.
